This time we went to Milan for 4 days, which we tried to enjoy fulfilling.  We chose Hotel B&B Milano Garibaldi, which was closer to the center and also to the subway. This hotel offers standard accommodation where you have everything you need. We paid 195 € / 2 people for 3 nights. This price was without breakfast if you like there is possible to order it for 7 € / person, day.

We arrived in Milan at 22:00 at Bergamo Airport, so on the first day, apart from accommodation, we didn't have much time. But the very next morning our trip started immediately.

Aj tento krát sme do Milána išli na 4 dni, ktoré sme sa snažili využiť naplno. Vybrali sme si Hotel B&B Milano Garibaldi, ktorý bol bližšie k centru a taktiež k metru. Tento hotel ponúka štandardné ubytovanie, kde máte všetko čo potrebujete. My sme za 3 noci zaplatili 195€/2 osoby. Táto cena bola bez raňajok, ak by ste o ne mali záujem vychádzali 7€/osoba, deň.

Do Milána sme prileteli o 22:00 na letisko Bergamo, preto sme prvý deň, okrem ubytovania sa, veľa nestihli. No hneď na druhý deň ráno sa náš výlet začal naplno.

In the morning we took the tram directly to the Duomo, where we got off in the square. We immediately bought coffee and a croissant and enjoyed breakfast right on the square. Then we decided to buy tickets to the Duomo, as we didn't get to in a few years ago. We decided to enter the Duomo + entrance to the roof by stairs (this ticket also included the entrance to the Museum and the Archaeological part of the church). These tickets cost 15 € / person. You can walk the stairs to the roof without any problems and you can reach the main view of Milan relatively quickly. You can walk along the roof here, if you are lucky, you will also see the Alps and a piece of Milan from two sides.

Ráno sme sa zviezli električkou priamo ku Duomu, kde sme vystúpili na námestí. Hneď sme si kúpili kávu a croissant a vychutnali raňajky priamo na námestí. Potom sme zamierili kúpiť si lístky do Duoma, keďže sme sa pred pár rokmi dnu nedostali. Rozhodli sme sa pre lístok vstup do Duomo + vstup na strechu schodmi (v tomto lístku bol aj vstup do Múzea a Archeologickej časti kostola). Tieto lístky vychádzali 15€/osoba. Schody na strechu zvládnete bez problémov a pomerne rýchlo sa dostanete na hlavný výhľad v Miláne. Môžete sa tu prechádzať po streche, ak budete mať šťastie, uvidíte aj Alpy a kúsok Milána z dvoch strán.

The interior of the Duomo is very interesting and definitely worth going here. We also got to the lower archeological part, where you will learn how the Duomo developed and how the various parts were gradually built. Unfortunately, we did not get to the museum next to the Duomo due to the closed society, but we believe that we will look there in the future.

Vnútro Duoma je veľmi zaujímavé a určite sa sem oplatí ísť. My sme sa dostali aj do spodnej archeologickej časti, kde sa dozviete ako sa vyvíjalo Duomo a ako sa postupne stavali rôzne časti. Do múzeá vedľa Duoma sme sa žiaľ nedostali kvôli uzavretej spoločnosti, ale veríme, že v budúcnosti tam nakúkneme.

Our steps from the Duomo led a short distance to the Vittorio Emanuel II Gallery, where, in addition to luxury shops, you can also see beautiful architecture. We do not recommend eating here, as we had a bad experience a few years ago, this time we did not try again. You can also see it in the half-empty restaurants located in this Gallery.

Naše kroky z Duomo viedli o kúsok vedľa do Galerie Vittorio Emanuel II., kde okrem luxusných obchodov vidíte aj nádhernú architektúru. Na tomto mieste neodporúčame jesť, keďže sme už pred pár rokmi mali zlú skúsenosť, tento krát sme to znova neskúšali. Môžete to vidieť aj na poloprázdnych reštauráciach, ktoré sa nachádzajú v tejto Galérii.

From the Gallery, we headed in the opposite direction and got to the church of San Bernardino alle Ossa (San Bernardino ai Morti). This church is unique and at the same time scary only at the first look inside. The perimeter here is literally breathtaking and was something we had never seen before. I had very mixed feelings during the moment in this Okostnice, but if you haven't visited anything like this, be sure to come here.

Z Galérie sme ešte zamierili opačným smerom a dostali sa ku kostolu San Bernardino alle Ossa (San Bernardino ai Morti). Tento kostol je jedinečný a zároveň desivý už len pri prvom pohľade do vnútra. Okostnica ktorá sa tu nachádza nám doslova vyrazila dych a bola pre nás niečim, čo sme doteraz nevideli. Pri chvíľkovom státi v tejto Okostnici som mala veľmi zmiešané pocity, ale ak ste doteraz nič podobné nenavštívili určite sem zájdite.

On this day we had a late lunch in the Navigli area, where we did not even plan the first day to go. Our stop was supposed to be the Basilica of San Lorenzo Maggiore, because we enjoyed a great lunch in this square a few years ago. Unfortunately, our restaurant was closed a few years ago, so our steps continued until we reached Navigli. Here we initially walked along the main canals, where the latest cruise ship. After a short walk, we headed to the smaller canals, which line various restaurants that offer genuine Italian specialties

V tento deň sme si dali neskorý obed v oblasti Navigli, kde sme ani neplánovali prvý deň ísť. Našou zastávkou mala byť Bazilika of San Lorenzo Maggiore, pretože sme si na tomto námestí pred pár rokmi vychutnali skvelý obed. Žiaľ, naša reštaurácia spred pár rokov už bola zatvorená a tak naše kroky viedli ďalej, kým sme sa dostali na Navigli. Tu sme sa na začiatku prešli pri hlavnom kanály, kde najnovšie premáva aj výletná loď. Po chvíľkovej prechádzke sme zamierili k menším kanálom, ktoré lemujú rôzne reštaurácie, ktoré ponúkajú pravé talianske špeciality. 

We enjoyed gnocchi and lasagna, which were fantastic. At the same time, we were able to enjoy a beautiful view of the Navigli district at lunch and we also learned that in Italy you really have to eat everything you have on your plate :D.

In the afternoon we rested for a while at the hotel and in the evening we headed to the center again, to enjoy the atmosphere of a lighted city. In this evening atmosphere, we also got to the opera La Scala for a few minutes and then just enjoyed walking through Milan.

Vychutnali sme si gnocchi a lasagne, ktoré boli fantastické. Zároveň sme si pri obede mohli užívať krásny výhľad na štvrť Navigli a tiež sme sa dozvedeli, že v Taliansku musíte zjesť naozaj všetko čo máte na tanieri :D.

Poobede sme si na chvíľku oddýchli na hoteli a večer sme opäť zamierili do centra, vychutnať si atmosféru osvetleného mesta. V tejto večernej atmosfére sme sa na pár minút dostali aj ku opere La Scala a potom si už len užívali prechádzky Milánom.
