If you've ever considered a trip to Naples, you've probably encountered many questions like: Is it safe there? What if they rob you? What do you want to see in Naples? They said it's an ugly city.

These questions made us think if a holiday in this city would be the right decision, but we didn´t hesitate and bought tickets. We landed at the airport, which is the main airport in Naples, and the journey to the center didn´t take more than half an hour.

Ak ste niekedy uvažovali nad výletom do Neapolu, určite ste sa stretli s mnohými otázkami typu: Je to tam bezpečné? Čo ak ťa okradnú? Čo chceš vidieť v Neapole? Veď to je škaredé mesto.

Nás tieto otázky nútili zamyslieť sa nad tým, či dovolenka v tomto meste bude to správne, ale veľmi sme neváhali a kúpili si letenky. Pristáli sme na letisku, ktoré je hlavným letiskom Neapolu a cesta do centra netrvala dlhšie ako pol hodinu.

I must say that Naples didn´t make a good first impression, but a second was great. We walked the streets looking for our accommodation and I felt like we come into unbelievable chaos, diversity and for a moment I wondered if this was really Italy.

The next few days, however, changed my view, and this atmosphere already belongs to real Naples. I think that's what makes it so different from other Italian cities. So why should you visit it too?

Musím povedať, že prvý dojem na mňa Neapol nespravil, ale druhý už áno. Chodili sme po uliciach a hľadali svoje ubytovanie a mala som pocit, že sme prišli do neskutočného chaosu, rôznorodosti a na chvíľku som premýšľala či je toto naozaj Taliansko.

Ďalšie dni, ale môj pohľad zmenili a mne táto atmosféra už prislúcha k tomu pravému Neapolu. Myslím, že práve to ho robí natoľko odlišným, od iných Talianskych miest. A teda prečo by ste ho mali navštíviť aj vy?

1. Naples pizza

If this wasn't the first point of our blog, I probably wouldn't have written about Naples. Naples pizza is really the best I've ever eaten. I had the feeling that I could eat it every day in any pizzeria and its prices ranged from € 3 to € 8. And if there was only one reason to go to Naples, it would definitely be this for their pizza.

1. Neapolská pizza

Ak by toto nebol prvý bod nášho blogu, asi by som nepísala o Neapole. Neapolska pizza je naozaj tou najlepšou akú som kedy jedla. Mala som pocit, že by som ju zvládla jesť aj každý deň, v ktorejkoľvek pizzérie a jej ceny sa pohybovali od 3€ do 8€. Ich Pizza je určite právom vychýrená a ak by bol iba jeden dôvod ísť do Neapolu, tak by to bol určite tento.

2. Atmosphere of the city

I know that not everyone loves noise, fast life and endless Italian trumpets. Until now, I just thought that the Italians were quite , until I came here. This city has completely changed my opinion and I know that even there you can connect with the speed and well-being of life. Naples offers you access to all scooters and the rule not written here also applies - the test also takes precedence in the pedestrian zone. Otherwise, this city is really noisy, but after two days we start this atmosphere rather in the right sense of the word. We came to the conclusion that we could not cope with the Italians in the amount of speech after our trip - when I was without a voice for a few days.

2. Atmosféra mesta

Viem, že nie každý miluje hluk, rýchly život a nekonečné talianské trúbenie z áut. Doteraz som si totiž myslela, že Taliani sú celkom pohoďáci, až kým som neprišla sem. Toto mesto môj názor úplne zmenilo a viem, že aj tam sa dá prepojiť rýchlosť a pohoda života. Neapol vám ponúka prístup skútrov všade a platí tu nepísané pravidlo - skúter má prednosť aj na pešej zóne. Inak je toto mesto naozaj hlučné, ale my sme si po dvoch dňoch túto atmosféru začali užívať v tom správnom slova zmysle. Na to, že sa Talianom v hlasitosti reči nevyrovnáme sme prišli po našom výlete - keď som pár dní bola bez hlasu.

3. Close to Amalfi

If I write about Naples, I must also mention Amalfi. We know that the Amalfi Coast is beautiful, although many places are crowded with tourists. We chose Naples for our stay, but one day we enjoyed in Sorrento and Positano, where we had the opportunity to see a completely different lifestyle. If you want to visit Amalfi for just one day, then Naples is about an hour from the aforementioned Sorrento.

3. Blízkosť Amalfi

Ak píšem o Neapole, musím spomenúť aj Amalfi. Vieme, že Amalfské pobrežie je nádherné, aj keď mnoho miest je preplnených turistami. My sme zvolili Neapol na náš pobyt, ale jeden deň sme si užili v Sorrente a Positane, kde sme mali možnosť vidieť úplne iný štýl života. Ak chcete navštíviť Amalfi len na jeden deň, tak Neapol je približne hodinu od spomínaného Sorrenta.

4. The islands of Ischia and Capri

They are perhaps the most famous islands in this part of Italy and you can get to them again from Naples. You can take a direct ferry or try a cruise ship. Thanks to that, we enjoyed a few hours in Ischia.

Sú snáď najznámejšie ostrovy v tejto časti Talianska a opäť sa na nich dostanete aj z Neapolu. Môžete ísť priamým trajektom, či skúsiť nejakú výletnú loď. My sme si vďaka tomu užili aj pár hodín na Ischii.

5. Naples

If we say anything, Naples is worth a visit just for what it is. It has a beautiful historic center, many Italian streets, many Castles and nice people. It is a place that may not entice you after an hour, but after one or two days you will start to enjoy it to the fullest. Therefore, if you choose here, do not be disappointed and try to give him a chance.

I must add that when we arrived in Naples, an acquaintance wrote to me that it was her favorite city. After this report, I was even more looking forward to performing in the center, and my first words in my head were, "Really? What did she like about it here?" The next day I understood it all. You may like Naples if you live with it, if you do not look like a tourist and if you enjoy this atmosphere to the fullest. I think going to Naples is not just about having a day in Naples, but enjoying this city.

5. Neapol

Ak by sme už povedali čokoľvek, Neapol sa oplatí navštíviť práve pre to akým je. Má krásne historické centrum, mnoho Talianských uličiek, veľa Hradov a aj milých ľudí. Je to miesto, ktoré vás možno nezláka po hodine, ale po jednom či dvoch dňoch si ho začnete užívať naplno. Preto, ak sa sem vyberiete nebuďte sklamaný a skúste mu dať šancu.

Ja musím dodať, že keď sme prileteli do Neapolu, písala mi jedna známa, že je jej najobľúbenejším mestom. Po tejto správe som sa ešte viac tešila, ako vystúpime v centre a moje prvé slová v hlave zneli " Vážne? Čo sa jej tu tak páčilo?" Na druhý deň som to celé pochopila. Neapol sa vám môže zapáčiť ak sa s ním vžijete, ak sa nebudete tváriť ako turista a ak si túto atmosféru vychutnáte naplno. Myslím, že ísť do Neapolu neznamená len zažiť jeden deň v Neapole, ale užiť si toto mesto.
