Na Kréte nájdete mnoho stredísk no ja väčšinou uprednostňujem väčšie s množstvom zábavy. Rethymno je presne také a aj keď je to tretie najväčšie mesto na ostrove je naozaj pre všetkých. Pri meste sa tiahne krásna 11 km dlhá piesočnatá pláž. Môj hotel Flisvos beach bol hneď pri pláži, čo je len výhoda ale naopak ak rozmýšľate práve, že sa tu ubytujete odporúčam vám neobjednávať si stravu. V okolí je veľa reštaurácií a taverien, kde sa dá veľmi dobre najesť. Mne sa tu veľmi páčilo a pláž bola jednoducho neprekonateľná, rovnako ako západy slnka hneď za pevnosťou. Tiež by som vám rada dala pár tipov kam ísť a čo vidieť v tomto úžasnom meste.
On Crete you can find many resorts but I usually prefer larger with lots of fun. Rethymno is just as well, and even though it is the third largest city on the island is really for everyone. Near the town stretches a beautiful 11 km long sandy beach. My Flisvos Beach hotel was right next to the beach, which is only an advantage but on the contrary, if you just thinking that staying here suggest you do not pre - order half board or all inclusive. There are many restaurants and taverns where you can eat very well. For me it´s was great and really liked the beach that was simply invincible, like sunsets right in strength. - pevnosť Fortrezza - pýši sa nad mestom, je to pozostatok z benátsko - tureckej nadvlády a určite si ju hneď všimnete aj z pláže a je to zdarma
- Benátsky prístav - nachádza sa hneď za súčasným prístavom a môžte si tu všimnúť aj úžasný maják, ktorý sa však už nevyužíva
- Mestský park- je to jediný park v meste ale zato je naozaj veľkolepý a mne pripomínal skôr botanickú záhradu a tiež to bolo moje najobľúbenejšie miesto
- Múzeum - historické múzeum, cena vstupného je 2€/osobu a pre deti zvýhodnené 1€.
What you need to see

- Yaourtaki - jogurtéria s najlepším mrazeným jogurtom
Where to go eat and have fun

- AYPA - bar in the city center, where you can take great coctails
- Le Dome - another great restaurant with a great view of the sea
- Yaourtaki - yogurt bar with the best frozen yogurt
O možnostiach na výlety som písala v tomto článku. Samozrejme ako všade tiež tu nájdete na pláži rôzne vodné športy. Možno sa pýtate čím je teda toto miesto iné ako ostatné? Tak ja vám to skúsim priblížiť. Nenájdete tu na pláži veľa turistov sú tak nejak roztrúsený a tak sa vám nestane, že by ste nemali súkromie. Ak sem prídete v správny čas tak môžte vidieť liahnuť sa malé korytnačky careta - careta, ktoré sú tu zákonom chránené. A síce na pláži máte pokoj ale večer sa centrum mení a je plné ľudí a bohatý nočný život vás tu určite neminie.
